GUY MAHON
BSc, MPhty
Guy is the founder and managing director of Bajan Physio. He completed a Bachelor of Science Honours Specilisation in Kinesiology (Anatomy, Physiology and Biomechanics) in 2012 at Western University of Canada. He then went on to graduate from the University of Sydney with a Masters in Physiotherapy in 2014. Since then he has been working in a private practice setting treating a variety of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions.
Guy specialises in pain management for spinal and peripheral pain conditions. He has extensive experience in chronic pain management as well as acute injuries. He employs a combination of soft tissue massage, manual therapy, manipulation. dry needling and exercise rehabilitation. Guy has a strong background in strength and conditioning for all levels of athleticism. He prides himself on providing indivudualised, one on one care to every single patient.

Guy is the current physiotherapist and on-field medic for the Barbados National Rugby Team for the Men's 7s and 15s. He has worked on the sidelines for the Rochedale Rovers in the Brisbane Premier League (soccer) and for the Broadbeach Cats (Australian rules rugby). In addition to his sport's medicine experience, Guy has a strong occupational health and safety background. He has consulted for numerous large companies in Australia such as Qantas, Geofabrics. Woolworths and Body Care.

Outside of work, Guy is an avid surfer and sport fisherman. He also enjoys weight training and golf.
